Mr. Luttrell has been in the electrical industry for over 40 years. He received an associate’s degree in electronics technology from Morehead State University and started his career at Systems Research Laboratories as an instrumentation technician.
Luttrell moved to NCR as an electronics technician, where he continued his education as a part-time student. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics engineering technology from the University of Dayton and continued working at NCR as a design engineer for several more years.
Luttrell joined the Joyce Dayton Company as a control engineer and service manager. He was responsible for design and manufacturing of controls for automated lifting equipment used in the transportation industry. He also coordinated the service of Joyce Dayton products nationwide.
He joined Kastle Electric in 1999 as service manager and project manager. He has used his knowledge and experience to maintain relationships with existing customers and foster new relationships. His engineering experience has allowed him to lead several design-build projects over the years and managed data center, hospital, industrial, and commercial projects. Sam has worked his way through the organization and assumed his current position of general manager/vice president in early 2019.
